Winemaker: Miha Kelhar

Located in the south-east part of Slovenia, Miha Kelhar is slowly taking over the family winery and went on the path of natural wine making. By the way, Keltis is a combination of their family name Kelhar and vitis, which is latin for grapevine. It is beautiful and among wine making personalities quite rare to see how Marjan or Mario Kelhar is supporting and giving space to his son to evolve the winemaking process and encouraging to follow the natural path.

Miha started making natural wines, as he says, out of curiosity. And you for sure can feel this curiosity in the Keltis wines. They are playful yet show precision, so you can have fun without entering the funky zone.
