Im proud to have been the one who arrange to bring the wines of Sandi Skerk to Switzerland. His remarkable cellar is in Friulis Carso zone, just above Trieste, a few hundred yards from Slovenia border. I have to say that the wine world has caught on and why not, the wines are just brilliant! His malvazija from the Carso plateu, on the Istrian peninsula is home to arguably the top strain for the dry and most mineral rich versions of the malvazija grape family. Nothing sweet about it except its value, complexity and class. Its especially full and opulent and not be missed!
