Vinification: Maceration without temp. control for 30 days in big open Vats, manual pigeage (each variety separately), spontaneous fermentation using only wild-indigenous yeast, aging for 24 months oak barrels , assemblage, no fining, no filtration.

Our red house blend combines five varieties: the cosmopolitans Cabernet Sauvignon
(the largest share) and Merlot, local Refosco, Barbera from Piedmont via the Vipava Valley (where it is now at home), and the central European variety Blaufränkisch, historically present in the region but later driven out and now being reintroduced by some winemakers.
It color is opaque, ruby red, with purple edge. In the nose you can feel ripe blueberries, maraschino cherry, fruit bonbon mint. On the palette blueberries, blackberries, savory, white pepper, soft tannins. FINISH black forest fruits, freshness, soft tannins. A fruity fresh good balanced lively Red Wine.
